Second Chance Learning is a volunteer-run company. Its purpose is to help as many individuals as possible attain their long term educational goals.

Our Philosophy

Second Chance Learning is a company geared towards helping at-risk individuals improve their lives through education and training. Our clients are typically individuals in recovery who are incarcerated or on probation, without a high school diploma, or trying to attend college for the first time.



Resume

As the sole proprietor of this company, I hold a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, a Bachelors Degree in Physics, and an Associates Degree in Chemical Dependency. I have completed the course work and PRAXIS I/II for secondary education.

I am also an Army veteran and youth soccer coach.

I have been working with at-risk persons since August 2005.

I currently teach remedial college math at the Maryland Correctional Institution for Women. I also teach college preparation at the Helping Up Mission as well as tutor all levels of mathematics at various locations.
